Ms. Luna has completed "Summer of Death", a chilling
adult mystery which takes place on Cape Cod. A widow arrives
at her summer cottage to find her ex-husband, who she hasn't seen
in twenty years, dead on her new living room rug. The local police
detective suspects her of murder. Not only is she being blackmailed,
but her best friends drop her as they become suspicious as well.
Her summer vacation and her whole life begin to fall apart as all
the men in her life die one by one.
"St. Ella of the Fat Farm", a new teen mystery, has
also been completed by Ms. Luna. It takes place on Martha's
Vineyard and at a boarding school in Western Massachusetts.
Ella Howard wants to show her classmates the red dress she plans to
wear to an upcoming school dance. When she can't find the dress in
her closet, she remembers she's lent it to senior Lucy Smithson, a
girl she doesn't even like. Why would Ella lend Lucy her dress?
It's a long story. A visit to Lucy's dorm reveals that she's
missing, and Ella reluctantly sets out to help the police find
her.
Book 5 of the Eel Grass Girls Mysteries is on the way.
Several real youngsters will have their names in this book. Two
not-for-profit organizations have asked Ms. Luna to donate the
chance for the highest bidders to have their loved ones
immortalized as characters in the next Eel Grass Girls mystery.
The new mystery will be out soon.
Miss Luna's fans were treated to a fantasy tea party
on the lawn of her Cape Cod cottage. Guests were photographed in
an antique picture frame. After following a hidden path through
the woods, they enjoyed three different treasure hunts. There was
a display of antique toys and a book signing. Many prizes were
awarded. Tea and delicacies were served at beautifully decorated
tables. To learn more, see the May 2007 issue of Cape Cod Life.
